Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist for its Delhi, NY location who can work
independently and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, thrive both independently and as part of a team, and take initiative in driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities/Duties include but not limited to:
- Train, coach, and mentor employees/teams on Continuous Improvement principles, tools, and new procedures to ensure adoption and sustainability;
- Develop and track training plans for all employees in Operations;
- Coordinate and conduct New Hire Orientation for all employees in Operations along with Human Resources;
- ERP systems trainer for NY Operations;
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data using quantitative methods to facilitate process analysis;
- Implement improvements, establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and monitor key metrics to track progress and ensure long-term success;
- Facilitate cross communications in Operations;
- Occasional travel between Delhi and Deposit Plants;
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Skills:
- Effective communication coupled with excellent public speaking/presentation skills;
- Demonstrated knowledge of software technology, and proficiency with remote meeting technologies;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and other training software programs;
- Strong teambuilding, organizational and leadership skills;
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines;
- Ability to maintain professional composure under stressful situations;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Able to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Experience/Education:
- Associate’s degree and 2 years’ experience in training development and compliance or an equivalent
combination of experience and education; - 2 years’ experience in public speaking or presentation;
- Microsoft Office to include Excel, PowerPoint, Smartsheet’s, Word;
- Experience with Training Software to include Learning Management Systems and Standard Operating
Procedures; - ERP experience required.
Starting Salary: $62,500/annually, the salary range in this posting represents the minimum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill, and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications and internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total benefit/rewards package.
