Sportsfield Specialties is seeking a Cobot Welder Operator, for our Deposit, NY location, who can work independently and/or with others as a production team member with good analytical skills. Candidate must be reliable and flexible with schedule during summer months.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Integrate, set up, and operate new production floor Cobot welding equipment.
- Read measuring equipment and interpret blueprints.
- Complete Cobot preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in all aspects of role.
- Create, organize, and save optimized Cobot programming files and fixtures.
- Provide technical support in developing and improving Cobot welding processes.
- Train future operators.
- Maintain safety and quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
Skills:
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic with the ability to be productive with little direction.
- Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
- Ability to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner in a deadline-driven environment.
- High attention to detail.
Experience/Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechatronics/Cobot experience preferred.
- Trade school, college, and/or 2 years welding experience highly preferred.
- Experience welding aluminum, steel, and stainless steel preferred.
