DESCRIPTION
A batter’s eye, also known as a batter’s eye screen or hitting background is a feature in baseball stadiums designed to provide an unobstructed view and consistent background for batters. They are strategically placed in center field, directly in the light of sight from the home plate to the pitcher’s mound and are intended to enhance visibility and help batters track the pitched ball more effectively.
Available in solid-surface metal that is single or double sided, either model can be plate mounted or directly embedded into the surface. Please consult with your regional sales team to see which model best suits the needs of your baseball or softball venue.
While the primary function of the batter’s eye is to contribute to fair competition and the safety of players, you can also consider the aesthetic impact on the overall look and feel of the ballpark. We offer the ability to customize the batter’s eye with your choice from our standard colors or digitally printed graphics.
